My Story

Art has always been a part of who I am. From a young age, I was drawn to creating, exploring emotions, and finding meaning through shapes, textures, and colors. I studied Fine Arts, specializing in Sculpture, at the Autonomous University of Sinaloa in Mexico, where I developed my foundation as an artist.

After moving to Canada in 2018, life took me through a period of change, adaptation, and personal growth. Like many people navigating a new chapter, I found myself focusing on responsibilities, work, and building a new life while slowly losing touch with the creative part of myself that had always brought me joy.

Eventually, I reached a moment where I had to stop and truly listen to myself. A period of emotional exhaustion became a turning point — a reminder that creating art was not just something I loved, but an essential part of who I am. Returning to painting became a way to reconnect with myself, process experiences, and rediscover my purpose.

Today, my work explores the delicate balance between strength and vulnerability, especially through the human figure and the emotions we carry. I create paintings that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and connect with their own experiences.
